Mountain Bike Holidays - XC Mountain Biking in southern Spain
Guided or Self-Guided Mountain Biking Holidays in Andalucia, Spain
Enjoy a guided or self-guided mountain biking holiday in Ronda, Andalucia. Ronda is perfect for both less experienced and more technically competent mountain bikers, with an extensive network of dirt tracks, natural cross country trails and single-track pathways.
Our British Cycling or IMBA-qualified mountain bike guides have unrivalled knowledge of the region’s hidden, unmarked trails and can take you on varied and adaptable rides each day, with vehicle support, so you can explore the wider region. Or we can provide GPX tracks for you to guide yourself. You will explore some of the same areas and can ride at your own pace - but you wont get quite so far afield or have the same daily route flexibility.
The riding and the scenery are stunning, with few riders out on the trails and many route options for you to choose from. This area makes a great alternative to mountain biking in Sierra Nevada, which can get busy in high season and can be too challenging for less experienced riders.

Riding Level |
Intermediate to Challenging : Routes are selected according to rider levels of experience and fitness. Our most popular centre-based mountain bike holidays are at an intermediate level and are suitable for regular mountain bikers with a good level of general fitness. Our riding is predominantly XC cross country on natural trails – there is a great mix of single track, mountain paths, farm trails and countryside ways, rather than miles of tended single track and downhill routes. This region is mountainous so every day of riding will include some level of ascent and descent. N.B. there is very limited easy mountain biking in this mountainous area so we do not recommend a full week for beginner mountain bikers. However, we can do fantastic combined hiking and biking holidays for less experienced riders who still want to get out to see the local countryside, Daily Distance : 30 - 50km per day, adjusted to suit rider fitness levels. Guided holidays include vehicle support throughout. On self-guided holidays, pick-ups are included on some routes |
