Day 1 - Arrival and Ronda Guided Walking Tour
14:00 - 18:00 - Check in to Your Hotel
Arrive in Ronda and check into the Hotel Catalonia Reina Victoria. Enjoy a drink on the garden terrace, admire the views and relax.
18:30 - Guided Walking Tour of Ronda
Meet your guide by Ronda's famous bullring for a fascinating walking tour of Ronda's most famous and interesting sights. Throughout your tour, your guide will share their knowledge, insight and love of Ronda. They will explain the geographic, cultural and historic circumstances which have influenced the town's development. You will wander around Ronda's impressive and beautiful buildings and hear tales of the famous names of past and present who have made Ronda their home.
20:30 - Dinner
After your walking tour, enjoy dinner in one of Ronda's many fabulous tapas bars or restaurants (dinner not included).
Day 2 - Guided e-Bike Tour & Winery Visit
9:30 - Easy Bike Ride through the countryside
Take a pleasant, short bike ride through the countryside with a qualified, local biking guide. The riding is easy and enjoyable, on a mix of quiet roads and easy tracks. You will ride past market gardens, olive and almond groves and, of course, vineyards.
11:30 - Winery Tour and wine tasting
Finish your biking at a local bodega, where you will enjoy a guided tour of the winery. The sit down in the grounds for a wine tasting, with cold aperitif, before the minibus return to Ronda.
13:30 - Arrive back in Ronda
The rest of the afternoon and evening are free for you to explore the sights and sounds of Ronda at your own pace. Visit the bullring or House of the Moroccan King. Take a walk down into the valley below the town for the most spectacular views of Ronda's famous Puente Nuevo bridge.
Day 3 - Driving Tour to Acinipo & Pileta Cave
9:00 - Depart Ronda (later tours can be arranged)
Your guide will drive you up into the hills near Ronda, past vineyards and wheatfields, to the ruins of the Roman city of Acinipo, built more than 2,000 years ago to house retired soldiers. You will take a short walk up the hill to the partially rebuilt remains of the Roman amphitheatre (originally large enough to seat 2,500 people) and enjoy amazing views from the top of the escarpment across the valley below.
11:30 - Pileta Cave Tour
Experience the wonders of the Pileta Cave, the most famous cave in the Serrania de Ronda area. You will enjoy a guided tour with a descendant of the farmer who originally discovered the cave system whilst searching for valuable 'guano' or bat droppings back in 1905. He discovered a deep cave system, decorated with fascinating pre-historic cave paintings and filled with wonderful stalactites and rock formations. (€10 to guide on entry)
13:30 - Arrive back in Ronda
The rest of the afternoon is free to stay longer in Ronda if you wish before heading home or on to your next destination.

Stay in Ronda's Best Hotel. On your Ronda Mini-Break you will stay in one of Ronda's best hotels, the 4-star Catalonia Reina Victoria, which offers superb levels of comfort and service throughout. The hotel is located, on top of the cliff which marks the western boundary of the town, with unmatched views across the valley below.
The hotel has wonderful bedrooms, excellent public areas and a spa. Pine tree-filled gardens surround the property to give a secluded atmosphere, whilst it is only a short walk to the centre of town and its many sights of interest, tapas bars and restaurants.

IS THERE A LOT OF TRAFFIC ON THE ROUTE?
All our Tours are designed to follow the ‘less travelled path. The route avoids traffic as much as possible, on a mix of quiet country roads and unsurfaced tracks. Perfect for cyclists on our hybrid bikes (or electric-bikes) who are keen to explore the countryside. Drivers in Andalucia are generally very considerate to cyclists.
WHAT’S THE WEATHER LIKE?
Our cycling tours run from March through to November, with the best cycling weather from March to June and from September to November. Most routes are also possible during the summer months but we recommend an earlier start to beat the main heat of the day, and don’t forget to carry plenty of water.
WHAT MEALS ARE INCLUDED?
All accommodation includes breakfast (unless specifically stated). Lunch and dinner are not included, so you are free to eat when and where you wish.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL OR CHANGE MY BOOKING?
If you need to cancel or change the dates of a booking, we have a scaled set of charges based on the work already completed and any costs already incurred which we cannot get back. If you re-book a holiday with us within 12 months of a cancellation which has incurred charges, we will credit up to 50% of the retained amount to the new holiday.
