This route begins on the edge of Ronda in the Recinto Ferial car park (free parking), located near the end of the A366 road to El Burgo. The route is almost all on easy tracks, keeping away from traffic and without much in the way of hills to climb.
It makes an extended circular loop which is soon out of the town and into the countryside, passing olive groves, vineyards, walnut and almond trees. There is a long scenic section through holm oak forest and past an old watering trough, the Pilar de Coca, and you may well also come across sheep or goats grazing in the open fields on the return section to Ronda. From the top of the final hill, there are great views across to Ronda. There is one main climb, just before the track crosses the railway line - unless you are very strong or on an e-bike, you will probably need to get off and walk this very short section - but other than that, this ride is easy and fun for anyone.

This route begins at Ronda train station and makes a circular loop via the Indiana valley, the village of Arriate and then back along a great section of singletrack beside the railway line towards Ronda again. Once out of the town, the route is on a mix of singletrack paths, small lanes and unsurfaced roads so it is best enjoyed by riders with a little bit of off-road biking experience.
The route quickly exits the town and heads down through pine forest on small tracks which lead to an open area of ground which is a popular picnic spot for locals. The route drops into the bottom of the valley, crossing over the railway line and a small bridge over the river before climbing up the hills on the other side for fantastic views back across the valley to Ronda. We pass vineyards and large market gardens, before dropping down to criss-cross the river and railway line a couple more times on the way to Arriate. A steady climb on a small lane brings us back up to Ronda level, where we ride through olive groves to meet the railway line one again. This final section of undulating singletrack is great fun before we re-enter the town to finish.
