Mountain Bike Holidays in Andalucia, Spain
Explore Ronda's Hidden Trails on Mountain Bike Holidays in Spain
Ronda is the perfect base for a mountain bike holiday in southern Spain, and offers remote MTB routes and great riding conditions, with over 300 days of sunshine a year. There is an extensive local network of unmarked dirt tracks, natural cross-country trails and singletrack pathways which cross the unspoiled countryside. We ride up mountains and hills, through river valleys and forests and visit traditional white mountain villages.
Ronda itself is an interesting and historic town, filled with culture, Moorish and Spanish architecture and lots of great tapas bars and restaurants. It is dramatically set on top of a 120-metre-high gorge, with the two sides of the town connected by an impressive, multi-arched, 18th-century bridge. The town is located between two large areas of protected Natural Park and is surrounded by beautiful mountainous scenery.
If you enjoy cross-country mountain-biking and want to avoid crowded trails and busy countryside, look no further than an MTB holiday in Ronda.

Duration
(longer or shorter holidays also available)
7 days 6 nights 5 riding days Distance 35km to 60km daily rides Ascent ranges from 250m up to 1000m Difficulty Moderate - Challenging: for the best variety of rides, bikers must be reasonably fit and technically competent but not experts. The riding is mainly cross country, on natural trails - a mix of single track, mountain paths, farm trails and lanes. Nothing is neatly maintained or clearly signposted and the trails vary from relatively easy through to quite challenging in parts (but we do not include drop-offs or highly technical rides).
eMTBs are a great option to open up the ride choice and explore some of the areas which we dont ride on regular MTBs.
