DESCRIPTION
An easy hike from Ronda to a local organic wine bodega for a vineyard tour and wine tasting. From Ronda's bullring, we head north out of town, walking down an old donkey trail on the edge of a pine forest, which gives spectacular views across the valley below Ronda. We continue northwards, gradually descending towards the Gualcobacín river. We then take a steady climb up a quiet country lane into the hills above the river to the bodega. The family-run organic bodega enjoys wonderful views from the terrace tasting area across the valley below. After the tasting, we return to Ronda by minibus. Wine Tasting is for min. 4 people and includes a winery tour and tasting of 3 wines. |

Note: The trail surface is mainly in good condition and easy to walk for the whole of this route. The section of the donkey track above Ronda gorge is stony and rocky so requires a little concentration but is not steep or difficult.
