Our cycling holidays in Ronda can be enjoyed on hybrid bikes, e-bikes or road bikes. Our hybrid bikes have excellent gearing to help with the ascents and hydraulic disc brakes for secure braking on the descents. They also allow riders to cycle along some of the easier tracks for an alternative scenic experience. E-bikes are great for riders who feel that they would like a little more help on the hill climbs or longer distances. Road cycling enthusiasts can cover long distances on carbon-framed road bikes.

For self-guided riding we provide routes via an easy-to-use phone App (handlebar phone mount included, no Data usage required). We will put together a varied choice of routes to suit your riding ability and preferences, including a couple of drop-offs/pick-ups to optimise the route choice.

If you prefer to ride with a guide, our guides are British Cycling qualified.

Ride Options

Cycling in the Serrania de Ronda of southern Spain

Our leisure cycling rides make the most of the network of tracks and quiet roads which interconnect the white villages of the region.  Riding on the many tracks offers virtually traffic-free riding along the less travelled path and offers much more in the way of route options.  If you prefer to stay on the roads, the courteous drivers and smooth tarmac will give you an unforgettable riding experience here in Ronda.

This region is hilly and mountainous, the quiet country roads and tracks which wind between traditional white villages provide the most beautiful views.

Our most popular cycling holidays are at a moderate level of difficulty and are suitable for leisure or regular cyclists with a reasonable level of general fitness but do not need to be serious athletes. This type of week is ideal for cyclists who enjoy cycling in areas of outstanding natural beauty and who relish the challenge of ascents ranging from between 250m and 900m. During your week we can include any of the following types of rides:

Via Verde cyclingEASY ROUTES

For riders who wish to take things fairly easily. Shorter distances and routes that include minimal hills, whilst offering a fabulous chance to explore the beautiful countryside and villages of Spain.

Moderate cyclingMODERATE ROUTES

For riders who like to ride further but still don't want to spend all day in the saddle. Varied scenery, varying degrees of ascent, long descents and plenty of opportunities for refreshment stops in white villages.
