Ride to Setenil de las Bodegas, an unusual Andalucian 'cavehouse village'. It is situated in a river gorge, surrounded by olive groves and farmland, which are lovely to cycle through. The village's most remarkable feature is the enormous rocks that loom over the charming white houses and narrow streets. After your ride, you can lunch in cool cavehouse cafes and restaurants which are built into the boulders and overhanging rocks. It is a must-visit destination in Andalucia and a great place to visit by bike.

DESCRIPTION

Take a ride through the nearby olive groves and past scenic vineyards as you head towards the village of Setenil del as Bodegas. The route follows peaceful roads and trails mostly free from traffic and ends with a long downhill stretch ending at the village. This ride is perfect for families and those who enjoy leisurely cycling. The extended route adds in a short extra loop with a little more ascent, via another white village.
