Whilst the biking is the most important aspect of your trip, you will also want to relax in comfort after your rides. So we base this holiday in a small countryside hotel, close to the historic town of Ronda. The Molino del Puente is a beautifully restored olive mill, full of character and charm. You will dine each night in the hotel's excellent restaurant, La Cascada and join us and local residents for a New Year's Eve dinner. Standard accommodation is for 2 people in a double/twin room. Solo travellers get a room of their own. Non-riding partners also welcome (reduced price applies).
You will also have free time to visit the nearby town of Ronda, perched upon a cliff-top above a dramatic 120m gorge. The spectacular bridge "Puente Nuevo" spans the gorge and links the old and new parts of the town. The town retains architecture from its Roman, Moorish, Jewish and Christian past. You can visit the oldest bullring in Spain or simply sit back and enjoy the tapas bars, watching the world go by.
