Ronda's best Hotel

You will stay in one of Ronda's best hotels, the 4**** Catalonia Reina Victoria, offering superb levels of comfort and service throughout. The hotel is located, on top of the cliff which marks the western boundary of the town, with unmatched views across the valley below. The hotel has wonderful bedrooms, excellent public areas and a spa. Pine tree-filled gardens surround the property to give a secluded atmosphere, whilst it is only a short walk to the centre of town and its many sights of interest, tapas bars and restaurants. 

Mini-Break Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival and Ronda Walking Tour

15:00 - 19:00 - Check in to Your Hotel

Arrive in Ronda and check into the Hotel Catalonia Reina Victoria. Enjoy a drink on the garden terrace, admire the views and relax. 

19:00 - Guided Walking Tour of Ronda

Meet your guide by Ronda's famous bullring for a fascinating walking tour of Ronda's most famous and interesting sights. Throughout your tour, your guide will share their knowledge, insight and love of Ronda. You will learn about the geographic, cultural and historic circumstances which have influenced the town's development. You will admire the views of the countryside which extends directly from the edge of the town. You will wander around Ronda's impressive and beautiful buildings and learn of the unique relationship between town and countryside. You will hear of the famous names of past and present who have made Ronda their home and spread the word about its unique charms.

20:30 - Dinner

After your walking tour, enjoy dinner in one of Ronda's many fabulous tapas bars or restaurants (dinner not included).

Day 2 - Bike Ride to Setenil 

 10:00 - 15:00 -  Bike Ride to Setenil de las Bodegas ('Village of the Cavehouses')

Your qualified bike guide will meet you at the hotel, set up your bikes and then lead you on an easy, 30km bike ride through the countryside to Setenil. We ride on a mix of quiet roads and tracks, enjoying peaceful, scenic local landscapes and keeping away from traffic. We cycle past olive groves, vineyards, arable farmland and fields of pistachio trees. The route undulates through the countryside with a few small hills but nothing too strenuous. 

We finish in the village of Setenil, where many of the houses, bars and restaurants are built directly into the limestone rock of the river valley to create a unique type of 'cavehouse'. We relax over tapas lunch in one of the many cafes before returning to Ronda by minibus.

The rest of the afternoon and evening are free for you to explore the sights and sounds of Ronda at your own pace. 

Day 3 - Walk and WInery Tour

 10:00 - 13:00 – Walk to Local Winery (Winery Tour & Wine Tasting)

Your walking guide will meet you at the hotel to guide you on a 7km walk from Ronda, through the countryside to a local winery or 'bodega'. You will enjoy a short tour of the vineyard and winery, followed by a tasting of 3 wines. We return to Ronda by minibus.

13:30 - Depart

The rest of the afternoon is free to stay longer in Ronda if you wish before heading home or on to your next destination.
