Cueva del Gato & Montejaque Village
Visit one of the most popular beauty-spots near Ronda, the 'Cueva del Gato', or Cat Cave. The cave is a huge opening in a rockface that marks the end of a 7km network of water-filled underground tunnels. The water which exits the cavemouth creates a waterfall that tumbles into a crystal clear, stunning blue water pool. The extended versions of this ride include a visit to the charming white mountain village of Montejaque.

DESCRIPTION
A very enjoyable ride through the local countryside on a mix of easy tracks and quiet roads to the Cat Cave. From the cave, we continue a couple of kilometres to finish in the small hamlet of Benaojan estacion. Time for refreshments before returning to Ronda in the minibus. A longer ride which takes in the Cueva del Gato and Montejaque village, plus an alternative start which heads below Ronda cliffs, for spectacular views up to the Puente Nuevo bridge. This route includes a couple of notable hill climbs, so we stop for refreshments in Montejaque village square before a thrilling descent through cork oak forest to our finish.
